We recognize that most of our clients don’t hire a caricature artist very often. In fact, many people don’t even know what to ask when hiring a caricature artist. We’ve assembled this list of the most frequently asked questions to help you learn more about our service and to help you make a more informed decision about having a caricature artist at your event.
HOW FAR AHEAD SHOULD WE BOOK YOUR SERVICE?
It depends upon the date. Some clients choose to contract a year or more in advance, while some are comfortable waiting until several months prior. Saturdays are the busiest days, so waiting too long to hire a caricature artist (or any service) for a Saturday should be done as soon as possible.
WILL THERE BE ONLY ONE CARICATURE ARTIST AT THE WEDDING OR IS THERE MORE?
Our packages only include one caricature artist, however we have over 10 caricature artists on our team and can add an additional caricature artists to any package
DO YOU HAVE A CONTRACT TO SIGN?
Yes, we do have a contract for you to sign if you are wanting to book. We handle all of or contracts online where you will be able to sign right on your phone or computer.
IS THERE A DEPOSIT TO RESERVE MY DATE?
There is a 25% deposit required to reserve your date.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?
We take all major credit cards, cash, and checks.
DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes, we have very flexible payment plans. We can set up weekly, bi weekly, and monthly payment plans
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DRAW A CARICATURE
We can draw one caricature every 3-5 minutes
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
We will travel anywhere and everywhere! Although anything over 1 hour from our location will be charged a travel fee of $50. Destination weddings will be negotiated depending on the specific needs, distance, and time involved.
DO YOU DRAW CARICATURES OF CHILDREN AND PEOPLE OF ALL KINDS AND AGES?
Absolutely! We can draw everyone and anyone! We are always a huge hit amongst the kids, but also adults of all ages!
HOW BIG IS THE SIZE OF THE PAPER THE CARICATURES ARE DRAWN ON?
The size of the paper is 11”x17”
DO YOU OFFER PRE PRINTED CUSTOMIZED PAPER?
Yes, absolutely! We can customize the paper to have you and your finances name printed, name and wedding date, wedding hashtag, Etc. This makes for a wonderful addition and is absolutely FREE!
DOES THE INK ON THE PAPER SMUDGE OR SMEAR?
No, no smudging or smearing will occur due to the ink coming from a special permanent marker specifically used for this!
DO YOU DO ANYTHING WITH THE CARICATURE WHEN YOU'RE DONE?
The artist will put your caricature in a clear plastic covering so it can stay safe during the duration of the event, and your trip back home!
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE DRAWN AT ONE TIME?
We can attempt to accommodate as many people as possible, but typically a group of two works very well!
DO YOU OFFER A FRAMED CARICATURE POSTER OF THE BRIDE AND GROOM?
Yes, this is a popular add on. We can draw you and your fiancé, and frame it. We then can then put it on a poster and provide markers at your reception for your guests to sign around it! It is a super cool and unique alternative to a standard guest book!
