Live Music Frequently Asked Questions
We recognize that most of our clients don’t hire a live musician very often. In fact, many people don’t even know what to ask when hiring a live musician. We’ve assembled this list of the most frequently asked questions to help you learn more about our service and to help you make a more informed decision about having a live musician at your event.
How far ahead should we book your service?
It depends upon the date. Some clients choose to contract a year or more in advance, while some are comfortable waiting until several months prior. Saturdays are the busiest days, so waiting too long to hire a live musician (or any service) for a Saturday should be done as soon as possible.
Do you have a contract to sign?
Yes, we do have a contract for you to sign if you are wanting to book. We handle all of or contracts online where you will be able to sign right on your phone or computer.
Is there a deposit to reserve my date?
There is a 50% deposit required to reserve your date.
What forms of payment do you take?
We take all major credit cards, cash, and checks.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes, we have very flexible payment plans. We can set up weekly, bi weekly, and monthly payment plans
How many breaks will the musician need?
We will not need to take any breaks, we will have you covered for the entire duration you
How far will you travel?
We will travel anywhere and everywhere! Although anything over 1 hour from our location will be charged a travel fee of $50. Destination weddings will be negotiated depending on the specific needs, distance, and time involved.
Can you provide music for our ceremony and cocktail hour?
Yes, absolutely! Having a live musician for the ceremony is our most popular package! We can also have an additional setup at your cocktail hour location and provide you with music for that as well!
How much time do you need to setup
We will need approx. at least 2 hours to setup.
Can we pick the songs for you to play?
Yes, absolutely! Our musicians are extremely talented and can learn any songs you wish for them to play!
Can the musician provide us with a speaker setup?
Yes, our musician can also bring in a full speaker setup, and even a microphone for your officiant at your ceremony location or cocktail hour!
