The Whetstone Center is located In the quiet and comfortable countryside of Louisville, Ohio. With an open layout that includes a charming lake, pontoon boat rides, a beautiful outdoor patio, and lots of land, the Whetstone Center would be the perfect location for your wedding!
The Whetstone center has a ton of amenities that are available! Some amenities include a complete kitchen, seating for 130 people, excellent parking, state-of-the-art sound system! In addition to this they also have the use of their chapel as well as use of table and chairs that come with the rental!
We asked Whetstone director of events, Hannah Fisher, a few questions about Whetstone and their amazing venue as well as some advice she would give to couples planning their wedding!
What’s the best tip you have for a couple planning a wedding?
The best tip I have for a couple planning a wedding is listen to each other’s ideas intently and don’t be afraid to ask for advice from a professional or even family members.
What don’t couples know about the Whetstone Center that they need to know?
What most couples don’t know about the Whetstone Center is the beautiful features that are all around our property, like our private lake, vineyard, and farm fields! My goal is always to get the couples out here in person so they can experience the environment themselves and get ideas for their own wedding!
What your best piece of advice for couples planning a wedding?
My best piece of advice for a couple planning a wedding is to ENJOY IT and HAVE FUN! The wedding planning process can be long and overwhelming, especially after looking at your budget and the details that go in to everything. It’s easy to think negatively about what you’re planning, but in reality, you only get to do this once (hopefully). So take time to relax throughout the planning and enjoy each other’s ideas and thoughts! :)
